For the past year I was seriously considering trying to convert a novel into a screenplay. I made the plunge earlier in 2023. It’s been a busy year but I’m getting near the end of the project now.

This was the first of my published works that was heavily molded by a dream. I submitted this to Trad, the same magazine I worked with to create “Where is Jamaica?”
I had a dream where I saw modern-day black people as slaves. As I walked through my daily routine the image of any black person I saw would switch. Their clothing would morph into cheap, torn rags I associated with the era of slavery.
I formed the ending after some brainstorming, in order to give the story a proper ending.
A rewrite of my third book, the first part of a werewolf series, should be done by the end of the week. My biggest writing goal is to get an agent for my fifth book this year.
